Blitzen - Parainema, El Salvador - Medium Roast

Tasting notes of Apricot, Sweet Apple, Agave, and Acidic.

This coffee is Honey-Processed, the best of both worlds: washed and natural processing. On the farm, the pulp and skin of the fruit berry surrounding the green coffee bean are removed, leaving behind a honey-like consistency called mucilage on the bean. The bean is then left out to dry where the mucilage can be picked off during the mill process before being shipped to be roasted. Honey-processed coffee brings a new complexity and overall well-rounded profile. 

This coffee is named after our first rescue, Blitzen.
