Meet Michael & Isabella: The Bean Dreamers
Welcome to your brewed awakening, where coffee isn’t just a drink — it’s a love story, a creative journey, and sometimes, a bit of a rebellion against the status quo. We’re Michael and Isabella, the caffeine-obsessed duo who decided the world needed a coffee roastery that wasn’t afraid to be a little quirky, a lot flavorful, and always, never boring.
How We Got Here
It all started over a very bad cup of coffee (we’re not naming names, but it was definitely not ours). We found ourselves asking, “How did this happen? How is coffee this… uninspiring?” After working in a coffee roastery before, we knew it wouldn't be the craziest of ventures for us to take on. We tried many of our friends' top recommendations for coffee shops in our area but left many of them wishing for something else. We reported back too often that we were not wowed with excitement and unfortunately would not go back. As more people began recommending shops, it became the repetitive few - we began to use the phrasing been there, done that.
Michael, a self-proclaimed coffee nerd, was the one who fell in love with the ability to cup and taste for all notes in every batch of the coffee produced. He can undoubtedly turn any bag of beans into a sensory experience. His passion for flavor profiles is so unparalleled it's basically perpendicular. He spent years tasting coffee in the most unconventional ways — blindfolded, in complete silence, with his eyes closed to connect more deeply with each cup. This, he swears, is the key to discovering the hidden nuances in every roast. His goal? To make each sip not just a caffeine hit, but an adventure in flavor.
Isabella, on the other hand, takes to addressing herself as the coffee alchemist. She loves the science behind each batch: how heat, time, and airflow transform those tiny green beans into the magic that fuels our days. She’s the heart and soul of our operations, tweaking variables and obsessively tinkering with the environments. Isabella's ambition to science and perfection is what makes us proud to put our name and brand behind each bag we develop (but if something tastes funky, it's absolutely not her fault).
Why We Roast
What started as a "What if we created our own coffee company" quickly turned into a full-fledged obsession. After roasting and testing (a lot of testing — we’re talking hundreds of cups), we realized something: coffee should be exciting, inspiring, and personal. Every batch tells a story, every bean is full of mysterious complexity, every roast is an expression of something bigger than just a cup of coffee. And we wanted to share that story with you.
We don’t roast just to make coffee; we roast to create an experience. To bring people together, to spark conversations, to fuel creativity — to make your morning, or evening, the moment. And yes, we’ve designed every coffee we create with this philosophy in mind. We promise, you’re going to find something here that speaks to you.
Our Philosophy: It’s All About the Beans (and a Little Bit of Magic)
We don’t believe in shortcuts or mass production. Every bean we source is hand-picked for its potential to tell a story. Our beans come from the world’s top coffee-growing regions, and we also work directly with farmers who share our values: sustainability, quality, and a deep love for their craft.
We may not always take the most conventional route — we love experimenting with different roast profiles, unique single origins, and limited edition releases. Sometimes we’ll roast a batch with one goal, as fruity and sweet as we can get it; other times we’ll go wild with trying to extract chocolate in every sip. Expect the unexpected — but always expect great quality.
Our Promise to You
From the first crack to the last sip, we promise to always push the boundaries of what coffee can be. We’re here to elevate your mornings, add a smile, and bring a bit of magic into your everyday routine. So, take a seat, sip slowly, and know that you’re drinking more than just coffee — you’re drinking a little piece of our dream.
Oh, and if you’re wondering about the name? Well, you know we were having too many "Been There, Done That" moments. It just needed a little twist.
Welcome to the family. ☕
